A Golden Match.
For this client our main brief was to match the garage door to the house front entrance door. The meant the garage door had to be a golden oak colour and texture with a gold handle. The client sourced their own handle for and we fitted it into the door for them in the exact position of their choice. The new door chosen for the project is a Ryterna Wood Mid-Rib 40mm insulated steel sectional garage door finished with a Golden Oak effect.

In addition to the colour matching the second part of the brief was to increase the drive through width of the door to allow for easier access for the car. The old garage door & frame was positioned between the brickwork opening restricting the door size, we removed the old door & frame and installed the new door behind the opening giving a larger door size without having to alter the structure of the garage. The reveals of the opening were the clad with matching PVC boards in golden oak for the sides and white for the underside of the lintel.

The new door is automated using a Marantec Comfort C260 motor system. The client has two radio control handsets and a wireless push button inside the garage.
