Feeling Lifted.
Our client for this project needed a solution that lifted the garage door closer to the ceiling of the garage. Our Ryterna range of 40mm insulated steel sectional garage doors allowed us to offer the Top Rib Slick style door the client liked with the STD (Standard) single track lifting gear. The vertical sections of the tracks are extended to allow the door to lift more before turning in the 90deg. curves and following the underside of the ceiling.

For the the system to work correctly as an automated door we supplied and installed a Liftmaster shaft drive motor unit. It couples to the spring shaft and turns the axle to raise and lower the garage door.

The Liftmaster unit has and electric lock that mounts to the side track and a cable tensioner to give the motor notice if there is an issue with the door lifting cable.

The door was installed at the back of the new structural opening and the side reveals and the underside of the lintel were covered with white PVC boards to match and compliment the door finish and colour.
