Local printing specialists Prime Group had problems with a rather large roller door. The door had been installed by another door company but due to its size and the installation of an incorrect motor system the motor had failed and the shutter had gone wrong.

Byron Doors were asked to provide a solution and get things working correctly.
The solution was to reduce the height of the door from 6.5metres tall to 3metres tall. This meant the shutter only covered one of the two openings the old shutter was covering, but it now works within safe parameters and the motor system is no longer working outside of it’s design capability. A new separate roller door will be installed to cover the upper opening.
